Websites for Bands

Your music deserves a home.

A proper website for your band, built by people who know what press, promoters and fans look for. Live within two weeks, and easy for you to keep up to date.

From the editor's desk

Every pitch should lead somewhere.

Every day, emails land in our inbox from PR companies about new singles, albums and tours. Great music, a good story, and then the link goes to a streaming page or a social profile that hasn't been updated since last year.

Journalists, promoters and festival bookers want one place to check you out: who you are, what you sound like, where you're playing and how to get in touch. If that place doesn't exist, many simply move on to the next email.

We've been on the receiving end of music PR for over a decade through MNPR Magazine, so we build band websites the way the people reading your press release want to find them.

What you get

Everything a band needs. Nothing it doesn't.

Your own look

Designed around your band: your colours, fonts, photos and style, whatever suits your music. We make sure it looks the part before it goes live.

Gigs

Upcoming dates with venues, times and ticket links. Past gigs drop off by themselves.

Music

Your releases with artwork, tracklists and streaming links.

Videos and news

Keep fans up to date with your latest videos, announcements and stories.

Press page

Bios, press photos and quotes, ready for journalists to use.

Mailing list

A sign-up form linked to your own mailing list provider, so your fan list stays yours.

Contact form

Enquiries go straight to your inbox.

Works everywhere

Fast, secure and built for phones first, because that's where most fans will find you.

Found on Google

Search-friendly from day one, with your gigs set up to show in Google's event listings.

Plus your own domain, yourband.com, registered in your name.

The Artist Portal

Update it yourself. No tech skills needed.

Every site comes with your own Artist Portal: a simple dashboard where you add gigs, releases, videos and news, and change your bio, photos and links. Fill in a form, press save, and it's live. No page builders and no "don't touch that" warnings.

Each band member who updates the site gets their own login, and you can do it all from your phone.

Optional add-on

Sell your merch direct.

Add a merch store to your site and keep more of every sale. Take payments with PayPal, card (Stripe) or Square, all paid straight into your own account. We take no commission.

  • Add and edit products, sizes, stock and prices in your Artist Portal
  • Sale prices with start and end dates, and discount codes for fans
  • Orders arrive in your portal ready to post, with packing slips
  • Refunds and size exchanges handled in a couple of clicks
  • Postage rates for the UK, Europe and worldwide, switched on or off as you like

Payment providers charge their own small fee per sale. That's between you and them, and nothing comes to us.

Questions

Good to know.

Is there a contract?

There's a 12-month minimum, paid monthly (or pay for the year up front and get two months free). After that it's rolling month to month, and you can leave with 30 days' notice.

Can I spread the setup cost?

Yes. Pay half to start and half when your site goes live, or split it over three monthly payments.

Who owns my domain?

You do. It's registered in your band's name. If you ever leave, we move it to your own account free of charge.

What if I want to leave?

After your first 12 months, give us 30 days' notice. We'll move your domain to you and send you a content pack with all your text, photos, gig listings and release details, free. If you'd like the complete website files to host elsewhere, we can export them for a one-off £150. You'd then need your own hosting and software licences.

Do I need any technical skills?

No. If you can fill in a form, you can update your site. We'll show you around, and if anything technical isn't working, we're always reachable.

Can you write my bio and site text?

Yes, as an extra for £150. Most bands supply their own, but we're happy to help.

What happens if I don't pay?

We'll always get in touch first. If payment isn't made, the site is taken offline until it's sorted, so it's worth keeping up to date, as your domain renewal is included in your fee.

My domain is a .music or .band address. Is that included?

Standard domains are included. Some specialist endings cost much more to renew, so those are charged at cost. We'll tell you before you buy.

Do you take a cut of my merch sales?

No. Payments go straight to your own PayPal, Stripe or Square account. Those providers charge their usual small fee per sale.

Do I have to use MNPR Publicity for PR as well?

Not at all. Our websites are available to any band or artist. If you do work with us on PR, your setup is half price.
